To date, PAMS (Performing Arts Market in Seoul) has been spotlighting a different region year by year: Asia in 2006 and 2011, Europe in 2007 (in conjunction with an IETM satellite meeting in Seoul), South America in 2008, North America in 2009, Nordic countries in 2010, and Visegrad and Balkan countries (Czech Rep., Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) in 2012. This Focus Program aims at shedding light on the region in order to gain a deeper understanding of the region’s performing arts landscape and issues in their cultural and social context.
In 2013, PAMS brings ‘Partnership and Leadership in Asia’ to the table. We look into the experiences from Asia with performing arts people, and listen to how they are practicing and interpreting those virtues and what their visions are.
